NHS Hertfordshire has been using a giant set of inflatable lungs to warn people about the symptoms of lung cancer.
They generated quite a lot of interest at The Harlequin Shopping Centre in Watford and at The Forum in Hatfield.
You were able to walk inside the lungs where you could see a tumour had formed- cancer nurses were then on hand to explain how the lungs work and the affect cancer can have.
Nurse Julie Julifes say:
"People are fascinated by it and its a good ice breaker- people are fearful of speaking about cancer so its a good way to start to broach that subject"
Julie says the message they're trying to get across is that lung cancer is much easier to cure if it is caught early.
They're asking for anyone who has had a cough for more than three weeks to go and see their doctor because this is often an early symptom.
