Police investigating a robbery that saw a woman have money she was counting at a St Albans bank snatched out of her hand have released a picture of a man they want to speak to.

The robbery happened at Barclays on St Peter's Street just after 1pm on Saturday 15 October 2011.

A young man shoved into the woman and tried to snatch the money that was in her hand. A struggle then took place where the victim shouted out. The offender then ran off up the northern part of St Peter’s Street.

PC Neil Pugh, who is investigating, said "We are really keen to speak to the man in the footage as he may be able to assist the investigation, or for anyone who recognises him to get in touch.
"We would also ask if anyone knows anything about the incident to please contact us.”
Anyone with information is asked to call investigating officer PC Pugh via Hertfordshire Police's non-emergency number 101. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
