Poppy Appeal Box Theft
Police investigating the theft of a Poppy Appeal collection box in Watford have released CCTV of a man they want to speak to.
The collection box - and a small amount of money inside - was taken from Waterstones in Watford's Harlequin shopping centre on 3 November 2011.
Officers say they have carried out a number of enquiries into what happened and they now want the public's help to identify the man seen in the CCTV footage.
They say "it may be that he witnessed the crime or can offer assistance in the investigation."
If you recognise this man or have any information about what happened, you're asked to call Hertfordshire Constabulary on 101, quoting crime reference C1/11/5940.
Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers, the independent charity, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
