Three Rivers Council say they're stepping in to fund the launch of extra new bus journeys in South Oxhey.
The authority's funding the Arriva Route 8 Sunday Service as a new route and extra journeys - to give residents in the Muirfield Road area better access to leisure facilities, shops, and rail stations.
Buses will run regularly on the new route, once every hour, every Sunday.
The trial will provide information to see whether people choose to use the bus to travel around South Oxhey and into Watford on a Sunday.
A significant benefit of these new journeys is increased access from the ‘Muirfield Road loop', a large residential area for which this is the sole bus route.
The Council put aside £90,000 in its budget to help fund public transport.
