A paramedic in a rapid response vehicle, an ambulance crew, ambulance officer and the Herts Air Ambulance attended.
The man had suffered a head injury, but was not trapped by the falling tree.
He was taken to the Royal London Hospital for further treatment by the air ambulance.

"We suspected he'd suffered a serious head injury, which is why he was taken to a major trauma centre. We were supported by fire and police as it was not known whether he was trapped to begin with."
