Three St Albans men have been found guilty of murder and told between them they will spent a total minimum of 51 years in prison after being given life sentences.
They have been told between them they will spent a total minimum of 51 years in prison after being given life sentences.
The body of 29 year old Mohim Miah was found in a layby on Ferrers Lane, near Normansland on Monvermber 18th 2011.
It's believed that he was attacked somewhere in St Albans earlier that day.
Joseph Cross, aged 27 and from Newgate Close was told he will spend a minimum of 17 years in prison, his brother Anthony, aged 31 and of Green Lane, was given a minimum of 19 years and 27 year old Michael Taylor of Bricket Road got a minimum of 15 years after being convicted at Chelmsford Crown Court on Thursday.
Detective Chief Inspector Sean O'Neil said: 'These three men have continuously lied about their involvement in the murder of Mohim Miah.
'They blamed each other however; the jury have considered the evidence and convicted all three of murder.
'The sentences reflect the seriousness of their action and whilst nothing can bring Mohim back to his family, I hope they find some comfort in the fact that these men will be in prison for a considerable amount of time.'
