Unprovoked Attack In Hemel

An 18 year old man has suffered serious facial injuries after being a victim of an unprovoked attack.

He had just got off of the number 500 bus in Hemel Hempstead when he was approached by a group who kicked and punched him.

Detective Constable Noel Walsh is investigating and said:

"This was a particularly violent and unprovoked attack which left the victim with some very serious injuries.

"I would like to appeal to anyone who saw what happened or who believes they know who the offenders are to contact me with information, your calls can be treated in confidence. I would particularly like to hear from anyone who may have been on the bus at that time or saw people getting off the bus.

"If you don't want to call police but know you have some really important information please ring Crimestoppers as you do not have to give your name."
