Today is D-Day. Diet Day. Unlike everyone else jumping on the weightloss bandwagon this month, I've strategically waited until now to begin my mission. Not because I'm unmotivated, but because of the mountain of Christmas chocolate that my children received. With that depleted, it's time to crack on.
There are so MANY diets around these days: Weightwatchers, Atkins, Dukan, Slimming World, Low Carb, High Carb, No Carb, Carb Curfew, Cabbage Soup, Goji Diet, Baby Food - and all work with varying amounts of success.
However, according to a new diet, you can lose weight and carry on eating what you normally do. It's called the 8 hour diet, and you ONLY eat between, say, 9am and 5pm. With a promise of 10llb of weightloss in the first week, I'm trying this from now.
Glamorous Assistant Laura is also in our 'chub club', unhappy with her curvy bits and "Thigh Arms" (her words not mine). Laura's on what appears to be the simplest diet of them all: "The Soup and Smoothie" diet. Self explanatory, it promises quick results.
So, here we are. Day 1.
