Two in court over father's murder

West Mercia Police have charged two men with murder over the disappearance of Jesse Richards.

The men, aged in their 30s, appeared at Birmingham Magistrates Court on Tuesday 1 February 2011 and have been remanded in custody.

The men were arrested on Sunday 30 January and charged late on Monday 31 January.

Jesse Richards was reported missing in July 2009 after a business trip that took him to the Cleeve Prior area of Worcestershire.

Detectives believe Jesse was abducted and taken by vehicle to another location, in Warwickshire.

West Mercia Police offered a £10,000 reward for information leading to the recovery of Jesse. At the time of the incident Jesse was a 41-year-old family man with a wife and three children who lived in Surrey.  His body has not been found.
