The Hammerman

A West End-style musical telling the inspiring story of Swindon poet and author Alfred Williams (1877-1930). First staged to great acclaim at STEAM, Swindon, in 2010, The Hammerman is back by popular demand and again stars Paul Bradley in the lead role. Marlborough Science Fair
Location: St Johns School, Marlborough

Saturday, 17 March will see the third annual science fair come to St Johns. As well as the fantastic science shows on the day there will be a whole plethora of activities for you and your family to be involved in. These include:
•Hands on experiments in our science labs and in the atrium.
•Numerous fun maths activities including a treasure hunt and glass engraving in DT.
•Have a chance to use the Lego Robots
•Wiltshire Police and Fire visiting with demonstration vehicles including police cars,  police motorbike and fire engines
•Cadley Garage demonstration on how mechanics have transformed over the years
•Wiltshire Science Museum enabling you to build a mini Stonehenge, see and inflatable life size replica and even have a go at moving the stones!!
•Wiltshire Astronomical Society will be joining us with a range of specialist solar telescopes and equipment and providing free solar viewing glasses.
•Wiltshire Geology Group will be offering fun with volcanos, ancient environments and much much more plus – make you own fossil!

10k Fun Run
Location: Village Hall, Kington St Michael, Chippenham, Wiltshire, SN14 6HX

The Fun Run will start and finish at Kington St Michael Village Hall.  Registration will be open from 08:45 am, warm-up at 09:15 am and the run will start promptly at 09:30 am.
Refreshments will be available in the Village Hall afterwards.
Recommended donation is £8.50 in advance or £10 on the day. In aid of KSM Diamond Jubilee Fund.
