Cars overturned in Swindon

Two cars have been overturned in 2 serperate incidents in Swindon overnight. They happened in the Eastcott area of the town on Wednesday evening.

A Vauxhall Corsa was found upside down at the rear of Westmorland Road and a Ford Fiesta was found upside side down on Savernake Street. Both vehicles had been parked up overnight by their owners and no-one was injured as a result of the incidents.

Sergeant Scott Anger of the Central Sector Neighbourhood Policing Team said: "These are very unusual incidents and we believe they are a complete one off. I would like to reassure the community that we are fully investigating these and enquiries are on-going. Patrols in the area at key times have been increased with immediate effect to help prevent further incidents and officers from the Central Sector Neighbourhood Policing Team will be carrying our further enquiries in the community today."
