Trowbridge: Police Investigate Flat Fire

Wiltshire Police is appealing for witnesses following a fire at a flat in Trowbridge last night.

The incident took place shortly after 7.30pm at a flat in Manor Road.

Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service were able to quickly extinguish the fire and no-one was injured during the incident. 

A 32-year-old male and a 46-year-old male, both from the local area, have been arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life. 

Both currently remain in custody at Melksham Police Station. 

Anyone who was in the Manor Road area of Trowbridge last night between 7pm and 8pm and may have witnessed the incident, should call Wiltshire Police immediately on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously.
