Countess of Wessex opens new hospital

An 11.5 million pound hospital to treat women and children on Merseyside has been opened by The Countess of Wessex.

The Wirral women and children's hospital at Arrowe Park has a modern delivery suite with birthing pools for new mums.

Ben Cinderby's daughter was born premature in Wrexham he's been telling Heart how the nurses at the centre looked after his daughter: "It saved her life really, she was born in Wrexham and they couldn't look after her there.

"So she had to be moved  to Arrowe Park, three weeks later and she's still here, it means the world to us."
