A Barnstaple mum's asking for help to make sure a swimming pool can be used by as many people as possible.
Julie Evett has a disabled daughter, and has been working with North Devon Leisure Centre and North Devon Council to help them decide what new equipment is needed at the pool.
At the moment, there is a hoist to help people into the pool, but it can't be used by some people who want to get into the water. Julie said: "I think a lot of people who forget that there are people who are unable to sit but would like to use the pool for physical therapy and just need that help getting in and out."
Although she knows what changes need to be made to accommodate her daughter, she's also looking for ideas from other families or visitors in the area which she can pass on to the council and leisure centre.
Anyone with any suggestions can call Julie on 07855 458375.
