Devon Driver Arrested in Double Death Tragedy

An articulated lorry driver from Holsworthy in north Devon has been arrested after a collision in which two cyclists lost their lives.

It happened at around 8.30am (2nd July ) on the eastbound carriageway at Summercourt near Newquay.

At one point both carriages were closed to traffic as the air ambulance flew to the scene.

It's understood the cyclists were not from the area and their families are being told.
