Windfarm Plans Go Further

We can tell the council what we think about plans for three 95m wind turbines planned near Ilfracombe.
BT want to install the turbines at Great Shelfin Farm near Mullacott Cross as part of their renewable energy scheme. It's one of a number of sites they've selected across the country.
Thomas Martin, Head of Partnerships at BT said: "Everyone who we speak to says the site we have selected is a windy place. The site itself has a very good natural resource, which is absolutely critical."
A consultation period about the plans has now opened, and we have until 9th April to say what we think.
BT have created a mock-up of how the turbines will look.
Tell us what you think - Do you think the turbines are a good idea? Or will they damage the area? Add a comment below.
