The oldest woman running in the London Marathon, Iva Barr, 85, from Bedford, completed the course in 6hr 37m 55s.

It was Iva's 15th London Marathon, and she told Heart she doesn't think she is anything special.

"For me of course it's what I do, I don't think it's that special. I'm out there doing something I really enjoy doing."

Despite being born in 1927, Iva didn't start running Marathons until 1982 but she says she always enjoyed being outdoors and exercising.

"While you feel good you do what you like doing don't you? I'm not going to wake up on my next birthday and think- I'm 86 today so I won't be able to do this and I won't be able to do that."

She says she gets a lot of smiles while she's out running in Bedford but says people don't always believe her when she tells them she's training to run in the London Marathon.

Iva Barr ran to raise money for Wizz-Kids, a charity that buys wheelchairs for disabled children.
