11 January 2013, 16:35
Cash has been stolen from a chip shop in Stotfold after the owner was threatened with a knife.
The offender, thought to be a white male in his late teens, targeted Charles Chip Shop on Regent Street just before 9pm on Thursday night.
He went into the shop demanding money and waving a knife
He then went behind the counter and took bank notes from the till before running off.
The robbery is though to be linked to another incident that happen just minutes before at the bookmakers on the High Street.
Ladbrookes called the police after someone of a similar description approached the locked door of the shop and tried to get in.
Detective Con Luke Moore would like to hear from anyone who saw this person hanging about in the town centre, saw any part of what has happened or has information which may help with the investigation.
