The body of a 30-year-old missing woman has been found in the River Ouse in Bedford.
It has been identified as Gaynor McEvoy, who was last seen on Thursday evening, and whose mobility scooter was found in the river on Friday morning at 7.56am.
Her body was spotted by a member of the public and was recovered at 10.30am from the river near Longholme Way in Bedford.
A post-mortem will now be carried out at Bedford Hospital to establish the cause of death.
Police say there's nothing to suggest the death is suspicious but are awaiting the outcome of the post-mortem.
