The John Bunyon Museum has just been informed it has achieved accreditation as part of the Visit England Visitor Attraction Quality Assurance Scheme (VAQAS).

A "mystery visitor" attended the museum on Tuesday 29th March and was impressed with her visit.

Christine Nichols, Visitor Attractions Quality Assurance Assessor for Visit England said:

"This is a gem of a Museum with an excellent level of information. I received a wonderfully warm and friendly welcome from the moment I walked in."

The museum has been given some advice on how it could improve even more in one or two areas. In particular, locating the Museum once in the town proved difficult with no real signage. As this is out of the hands of the Museum, Bunyon Meeting says it will be looking to to the Borough Council to help.
