Demolition of Bedford Buildings Underway

Work starts this week to redevelop and improve one of our towns.

Demolition has started on Gwyn and Patteshull Courts in Bedford, which has been desrcibed as a "major milestone for the Town Centre West redevelopment."

The Courts, comprised of 76 flats, have been vacant for some time and according to Bedford Borough Council, are no longer regarded as fit for purpose.

The demolition will remove ongoing costs on the buildings and prevent the premises from being vandalised ahead of the development.
