Lorry Driver Dies In M1 Crash

It's been confirmed a 62 year old lorry driver died in a crash on the M1 that closed the motorway for more than six hours.

Three lorries were involved in the crash near Junction 13 for Milton Keynes just before 3.30am on Thursday 12 April 2012.

The lorry driver who died is believed to be from Skegness, Lincolnshire.

A Renault arctic lorry was travelling along the M1 southbound, when it was in collision with two other lorries. The driver of the Renault arctic lorry died.  Family liaison officers are supporting his family at this time.
