Man Denies Christmas Day Murder

The man accused of a Christmas Day murder in Bedford appeared at Luton Crown Court today (Friday March 18th) and pleaded not guilty to the charge

David Folley, 34 is accused of the murder of Inderjit Singh, 39, whose body was found outside the block of flats where they both lived in Culshot Walk, Putnoe, at 2 am on Christmas morning. He had been stabbed.

His trial had originally been due to start on June 16 this year at Luton Crown Court, but Judge Michael Baker QC said that if the case was not ready by that date it would be put back until August 22.

He remanded Folley in custody until a review hearing in May.
