Man Trampled

A man's been seriously injured after being trampled by a herd of cows.

The East of England Ambulance Service were called to a field near St Neots, Cambridgeshire, at 7.30pm on Bank Holiday Monday 26 August 2013.  They have told Heart a critical care paramedic, an ambulance and a response car attended the scene.

Ambulance service spokesman Gary Sanderson said: “On our arrival, the man who we believe to be in his 60s received significant injuries.

Following treatment, stabilisation and immobilisation by the ambulance crews, he was taken to the specialist trauma centre at Addenbookes Hospital in Cambridgeshire for further care."
