Men take themselves to hospital with stab wounds

Police are trying to find people who were in or near a social club after two men reported being stabbed.

The pair claim to have been hurt at the West Indian social club on Woburn Road in Bedford at around 3am on Saturday 22 January 2011.  The pair admitted themselves for treatment at Bedford's Southwing Hospital.

Bedfordshire Police are trying to find people who may have seen something inside the club, or were passing or nearby at the time.

Alexandra Road was closed through Saturday morning while a police investigation was carried out.
