Second Bedford Stabbing In One Week

A 20 year old man has been stabbed twice in the upper body during a fight outside a club in Bedford.
It happened in the early hours of Saturday morning (1st February).
The man and his friend were attacked in St Peter's Street by a group of youths armed with knives.
Both victims fought back using their belts as makeshift weapons and swinging them at the other group.
The police arrived and an ambulance was called.
The victim was taken to hospital where he chest was drained.
His friend, aged 19, received less serious wounds to his arm.
This follows the fatal stabbing of 19 year old Isaac Stone on Costin Street a week earlier (25th January).
