Two teenagers have been arrested after a 17 year old was found with stab wounds in Bedford.
Police were called to Boswell Place just before 7.20pm on Thursday 3 January 2013. The 17 year old victim was taken to hospital for treatment to his chest and abdomen.
A 20 year old man had a brick thrown at his head as part of the same incident, but he did not require hospital treatment.
Two 17 year old boys were arrested shortly after the incident on suspicion of attempted murder.
The officer in charge of the investigation, Detective Inspector Vicki Evans, is keen to trace anyone who saw what happened.
DI Evans said: “A street cordon was put into place while Scene of Crime Officers undertook a forensic examination of the area in support of this investigation and officers continue to undertake house to house investigations in the area.
“We are urging anyone with information about this incident to come forward and help officers piece together exactly what happened. We believe there may have been an argument earlier in the evening between a group of men and the victim and anyone who saw or over heard this argument is also urged to contact the police.”
Anyone who has information and can help with this investigation is urged to contact Bedfordshire Police, in confidence, on 101, or text information to 07786 200011.
