Police in Luton are appealing for witnesses and information after two brand new unregistered cars were stolen from a compound at a car dealership at the weekend.

Both vehicles were dark grey Toyota Land Cruiser V8s valued at £68,000 each. They were taken from Steven Eagle Toyota in Latimer Road sometime between 5pm on Saturday 20th October and 10.30am on Sunday 21st October.

Neither car was registered so did not have number plates. It is believed the offenders used an angle grinder to gain entry to the compound via the gates in Oxford Road, which are just behind the garage.

They then removed the vehicles by unknown means as both keys were locked inside the showroom.
