Bracknell town centre revamp

Heart's been given these artist impressions of how Bracknell town centre will look after the multi-million pound project.

The pictures are also going on display at 30 Charles Square in Bracknell from today until Saturday.

Developers want everyone to see what's happening in the town, and and there will be a chance to give your feedback and ask questions.

Councillor Paul Bettison, leader of Bracknell Forest Council, said:

"The exhibition is the perfect opportunity to find out first hand what is happening with the town centre regeneration, and what the next steps are."

The regeneration project also includes a new Waitrose Store. Building will start in April 2011 and it is thought the store will open in Spring 2012 creating up to 180 new jobs.
