Planning managers in Oxfordshire want to hear what you think of plans for an eco development on the edge of Bicester.

Organisations such as Cherwell district, Oxfordshire county and Bicester town councils, NHS Oxfordshire, the Environment Agency, the Homes and Communities Agency and Bicester Vision all want to know what you think of their shared idea for Bicester's future.

They've put together this document explaining what their plan for a low-carbon community, and hope a lot of residents and businesses in Bicester will be keen to comment on it.

Cherwell Distrcict Council leader, Councillor Barry Wood, said:

"This document gives a clear view of how all of these organisations view the future of Bicester.

"Our plan is to create a town which will be the envy of the rest of the country while remaining sustainable for future generations.

"And we welcome any constructive comment which might enhance our plans and help us provide the best possible result for the town."

A consultation will run from Monday, 23 August to Friday, 1 October in order to gather opinions on the vision document.
