Heart's been given a computer generated photo of a man police want to speak to after three distraction burglaries in Bracknell.
At about 4pm on Saturday 8 May, a man knocked at an address in Brook Green, Priestwood, Bracknell, and said that he needed to enter the property to switch off the mains water. He told the occupant that the neighbour’s washing machine had flooded, although this was not the case.
Fortunately, the occupant refused the man entry and he left.
The bogus caller is white, approx 5ft 5ins, slim, with fair brown hair. He is described as speaking with an effeminate voice.
About half an hour later, two similar incidents happened in Thorn Hill, Harmanswater, Bracknell.
Police think the same man is responsible.
All of the targeted addresses appear to have belonged to elderly people.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Priority Crime Team at Bracknell on 0845 8 505 505. Those who do not wish to speak to police or leave their name should call the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
