Multi-million pound plans for a new shopping centre in the Thames Valley are now on display
Heart's been given pictures as a model for the future of shopping in Newbury goes on display in the town.
A scale model of the new Parkway development is on show to the public at the Council's Market Street office, ahead of the opening of the project itself in October 2011.
Parkway is being developed as a key part of the Newbury Vision 2025 project, which sets out the long-term plans for the future of the town and was created after a consultation with the public.
Councillor Graham Pask, Chairman of West Berkshire Council told Heart: We are very pleased to be able to host this model. Following the recent milestone of the roof being successfully installed on the flagship store, it is interesting to see how the completed project will look. I would urge residents to view it and consider the great boost the development will give the town.
The model will be on show at the Council Offices until Friday 19 November.
