Thames Valley Police are investigating a report of neglect in relation to a care home in Sonning Common in Oxfordshire.
Officers attended Orchard Lodge in Baskerville Road yesterday morning (October 30) as part of their enquiries.
Thames Valley Police say they are liaising with Oxfordshire County in relation to safeguarding issues.
Det Insp Larry Johnson, from the Protecting Vulnerable People Investigation Unit, said:
“Our primary focus today was to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all of the residents.
“All of the residents were found to be safe and we have been working with the relevant authorities to ensure they have an appropriate place to stay.
“We treat all reports seriously and will investigate them. This investigation is still its early stages but we will keep the residents and their families informed.”
A 62-year-old man and a 62-year-old woman from Reading were arrested on suspicion of wilful neglect and later bailed until January 6th.
