Loads of roads around Reading are getting a summer make-over.
Over the next six weeks a lot of routes in Reading are being re-surfaced.
Advance warning signs will be put out on roads prior to work starting and notification letters will be delivered to homes and businesses affected.
Here's a list of all the roads due to be re-surfaced. Check the council's website for the latest information.
Forbury Road (Southbound carriageway between Kenavon Drive and Kings Road)
Bath Road from Burghfield Road to Borough Boundary
Peppard Road - Prospect Street to Surley Row
Peppard Road - Courtenay Drive to Kidmore End Road
Basingstoke Road - Whitley Street to Elgar Road South
Basingstoke Road - Manor Farm Road to Hartland Road
Basingstoke Road - Long Barn Lane to Buckland Road
Chatham Street - IDR roundabout to Bedford Road
Vastern Road / Kings Meadow Road roundabout
A33 Rose Kiln Lane - North and south bound approaches
Berkeley Avenue - Bath Road to Baydon Drive
Duke Street / IDR junction
Grovelands Road (small section between Water Road and Waverley Road)
Hartland Road - Basingstoke Road to Northumberland Avenue
Hartland Road - Northumberland Avenue to Whitley Wood Road
Whitley Wood Road - Shinfield Road to Harltand Road
The Council's told Heart they're sorry for any inconvenience or disruption the carriageway improvement works may cause and will ensure every effort is made to keep this to a minimum.
