A 9 year old from Bristol's raising more than a thousand pounds for the Childrens Hospital.
Jack Van Nuil's friend Seb was diagnosed with Leukemia last year. When Jack heard someone joke about the hair he lost during treatment he decided to shave his own head to raise the cash.
He said, 'My friend Seb is really funny, he always makes me laugh and smile. We are always together at school. We go to chess club and Taekwon-do together too, I really miss him when he's not around and If I could choose a brother I would choose him.
Last October when I was on Holiday Seb found out he had leukemia. When I found out I was really worried. My mum and Dad explained to me that the treatment would make Seb feel really ill ,and his hair fall out and that he would have to spend a lot of time in hospital.
I think Seb has been really brave, and I wanted to do something.
I thought about it for a long time. Then one day when someone laughed at Seb's hair, I knew what I wanted to do. I told my mum and dad that I wanted to shave my hair off, to raise money for Seb. They were very shocked because everyone that knows me knows how important my hair is to me, I won't even get it cut short.'
