A cyclist has died after being found unconscious and taken to hospital in Bristol.
At around 2m on Boxing Day a cyclist was found unconscious by a motorist on Church Road in Soundwell.
The cyclist, a 48-year-old man, was treated for a cardiac arrest at the scene and was taken to Frenchay Hospital but he died on Monday.
Police say an investigation into the circumstances of the collision is taking place and at this stage there is nothing to suggest any other vehicles were involved.
Anyone who saw the cyclist come off his bike should contact the Collision Investigation Unit on 101.
