Equality South West say they're shocked that burlesque dancer Dita Von Tees will be allowed to perform in Bristol's City Museum.
They say the show is a 'gratuitous debasement of women' which isn't fit to be held in a public building.
ESW's Brenda Watson said "Bristol City Council has a legal obligation to promote equality, they should be supporting women not demeaning them. This is a disappointing mistake and we sincerely hope they change their mind and stop the stripper attending'
But the city council say the event is a private party and they don't think it's inappropriate.
