Missing Bristol woman - Claire Holland

Detectives searching for a missing Bristol woman are starting a Facebook campaign to help find her.

32 year old Claire Holland was last seen in Bristol City Centre at the Seamus O'Donnell's pub on St Nicholas Street on Wednesday June 6th.

She was reported missing around 10 days later when she failed to attend a number of meetings arranged for her.

Investigations have been going on ever since to find Claire but now detectives leading the search are starting a Facebook campaign.

Detective Inspector Edward Yaxley said: "We are extremely concerned for Claire's welfare, and have been since she was reported missing. It is completely out of character for her not to make contact with her family or friends for this length of time.

"Our investigations suggest that her bank account or phone has not been used since her disappearance.

"Claire is a keen Facebook user who generally logs on at least once a day. Her account has not been used since June the 6th and this concerns us greatly.

"We need to find Claire safe and well and I would urge anyone who was with her on the day or night that she went missing to contact us. I am also keen to speak to anyone who may have seen her since or who may know where she is, or if she was in any trouble or worried about anything."

Claire's family made a direct appeal to her and urged to come home. They said: "Claire we are extremely worried about the length of time you have been missing, everyone is frantic not knowing that you're safe and well.

"You're not in any trouble, so please get in touch as soon as you can, we can help you and arrange anything that you might need. We miss you."

Claire is white; around 5ft tall of a small build with shoulder length brown hair that is often tied in a ponytail. She was last seen wearing black trousers, a short sleeved black top with a grey t-shirt underneath. She was also carrying a cream coloured Primark re-usable carrier bag.

Anyone who may have seen her or who may know where she may be is asked to call Bristol CID on 101 quoting reference MP2251/12.
