Southville: Man Arrested Over Disturbance

Avon and Somerset Police have arrested a man after they were called to a disturbance in Bristol.

Police say they were called to Lime Road in Southville around 10.45am to reports a man was in the street with an axe.

The road was closed while armed officers responded to the incident. 

Some windows were broken.

The 38 year old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon and criminal damage.
