Bristol: Arrests Made After Pub Disorder

A number of people have been arrested after police were called to a disorder outside the Black Swan pub in Stapleton Road, Bristol at around 6am.

It is believed the disorder originated from a dispute inside the pub. 

Five men, all in their twenties or thirties, have received stab injuries and are in hospital receiving treatment. 

None of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening. 

Det Insp Louise Boyce said: ''We are carrying out a full and thorough investigation into what appears to be an isolated incident at the Black Swan pub, which continued into the Robertson Road area. 

''Five men are receiving treatment for their injuries and we have several people under arrest. 

''A number of enquiries are under way and we'll be reviewing CCTV footage as part of our investigation.''
