A teenager from Bristol's died after taking drugs as part of a tribal ritual in Colombia.

Henry Miller's reported to have suffered a bad reaction after taking Yage.

The halluciongenic substance is often used by tribes in south america in spiritual or healing ceremonies, but is also known to cause psychological distress.

His friends say he appeared to be having a bad reaction, made animal noises, lashed out and at one point, tried to fly.

They were told a shaman would take care of him - when they returned the next day for him, police showed them a picture of his body on a dirt road.

His family are now recieving support from the foreign office.
