Babraham: Petrol Station Armed Robbery

Police have arrested two men in connection with an armed robbery at a filling station in Babraham.

It happened at Worsted Station at about 1.20am on January 25th (2013).

Two men got in through a sky-light and tried to take cash from the till. A male member of staff was hit with a broken snooker cue but wasn't seriously injured.

The robbers got out through the sky-light but nothing was stolen.

A 33 year old from Papworth Everard and a 32 year old from Great Shelford, have been arrested on suspicion of robbery and are being questioned at Parkside Police Station in Cambridge.
