Cambridge: Arbury Stabbing

Police are investigating after one man was stabbed and another seriously injured in Arbury, Cambridge.

Emergency services were called to reports of an assault on Carlton Way at 8.55pm last night (Monday 7th January 2013). 

A man was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge with serious injuries.

A short while later, another man was found with a stab wound to his chest in Roseford Road. 

He was also taken to Addenbrooke's, where he remains in a serious condition.

A 32-year-old man and a 35-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.

The 35 year old man remains in custody and the 32 year old has been released by Police and faces no further action.

Detective Inspector Billy Bremner said: "Details about this incident remain sketchy and I would like to hear from anyone who was in the area last night who has any information."
