Cambridge: Man Unconscious After Attack

A 20 year old man has been left unconscious after being attacked in Cambridge.

The incident in Brooks Road was reported at just before 1am on Thursday (April 12). 

The 20 year-old man, was assaulted and kicked while on the ground by another man who then left the scene.

The victim was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries and remains there this afternoon.

The attacker was described as about 5'8", slim, wearing a red t-shirt and black bottoms.

Detective Sergeant Rich Sinclair told Heart: "This was a serious assault in which the victim was kicked while on the ground. 

It happened in the early hours but we believe there would have been people in the area who may have seen the attacker."
