Cambridge: Nearly 350 Cyclists Fined
Nearly 350 cyclists in Cambridge have been fined, in one week, in a crackdown by Police.
Police in Cambridge focused on cyclists breaking the law during Operation Pedalo, which was held between February 4th-15th 2013.
A total of 346 fines were issused by Cambridgeshire Police for things like ignoring traffic signs, riding with no lights, and carrying more than two people.
Sir Graham Bright, Cambridgeshire's Police and Crime Commissioner said "the law is the law, whether you are talking about pedestrians, cyclists or motorists."
Cambridgeshire Police say they will continue to deal with any cyclists caught breaking the law.
