Police in Haverhill are investigating after car windows have been smashed in the town - including one with a lump of concrete.

The first incident occurred between 7.30pm Sunday 27 October and 6.30am Monday 28 October in Cambridge Way. A blue Vauxhall Tigra parked in the street had a side window smashed and a handbag was stolen from inside.

The second crime took place between 2pm Monday 28 October and 8am Tuesday 29 October in Chauntry Road. A lump of concrete was thrown through a side window of a grey Vauxhall Astra parked in the street and the glovebox was then searched, but no items were stolen.
