A haulage company has been given a warning after a lorry drove onto the Cambridgeshire Guided Busway near Longstanton.
Cambridgeshire County Council told Heart a member of the public took a photo of the lorry yesterday (Wednesday 3rd April).
A spokesperson said: "the driver was very lucky not to get stuck before managing to get off the busway at a nearby Park & Ride site."
"The lorry didn't cause any damage to the track or affect bus services, but officers have spoken to the haulage company about their driver's behaviour."
"They were warned that, if it happens again, they could be fined up to £1,000."
Motorists are being reminded not to drive on the busway.
