A homeless man has been given a ten year ASBO that bans him from entering Cambridge for a decade.

35 year old Graham Woollett, of no fixed address, is not allowed to enter a boundary signified by the north of the A14, south of the A505 and west of the M11.

It's after he repeatedly burgled properties in Cambridge.

He has also been sentenced to two and a half years in prison after admitting burglary and assaulting police officers.

PC Leanne Livermore said: "We gathered a lot of evidence on this man, including working with partners who have helped us pull together this application to the courts.

We’re really pleased with the result as this is the longest ASBO given in Cambridge.

This man persistently stole from colleges and targeted students, I hope this acts as a warning to those who break the law."
