A man has been crushed by a tree in Huntingdon.
A man has been injured after the motorised lawnmower he was travelling on collided with a tree in Hemingford Grey.
The ambulance service was called at 3.12pm dispatching a land ambulance, paramedic officer, the hazardous area response team (HART) and a Magpas air ambulance.
The man, thought to be in his 80s, suffered chest injuries and was airlifted to Hinchingbrooke Hospital for further treatment.
Paramedic Officer Alan Cooper, who attended the scene said: "The area was difficult to access so the air ambulance and our HART team was dispatched so that the casualty could receive urgent treatment. The man was trapped under a tree but managed to drag himself out and alert his wife so that she could call us. He was treated for chest injuries which thankfully aren't thought to be life threatening."
