Michelle Obama will visit RAF Mildenhall during a three day trip to the UK.
Mrs Obama is coming to the UK as part of a US Presidential delegation at London 2012.
The US First Lady will meet military families at the US Air Force base at Mildenhall on Sunday.
Mrs Obama said: "Leading our nation's delegation and travelling to London is truly a dream come true.
If anybody had asked me when I was 10 or 11, or actually 40, whether I would have been doing this, I would have bet not.
Some of my fondest memories when I was young and not so young involved watching the Olympics on TV and cheering on Team USA.''
A statement from the base reads: "Last year, the first lady launched Joining Forces, a nation-wide initiative with Dr. Jill Biden to recognize, honor and take action to support military families.
Since then, significant progress has been made to rally Americans around military families including substantial commitments made by communities, businesses, schools, faith groups, non-profit organizations and individual Americans to show military families the support they deserve."
